I learned a lot of things tonight.
I learned that I can never ever forget about my straight privilege because I have it and it affects nearly ever aspect of my life. I forgot that tonight and I am paying for it.
I learned that just because I see the world a certain way doesn’t mean everybody sees it that way.
I learned that not everything is black and white, that there are more then two sides to every story.

Heartbreak
I have only been heartbroken twice. I know that as a teenager my heartbreak won’t be taken seriously. Honestly, I don’t care. I know what I experienced was heartbreak because it was the worst thing I have ever felt. It was as if my heart were actually breaking in two, as if someone took a knife and stabbed me in the chest.
